The essence of sprinting is driver ability and car control, getting the best out of your vehicle. Cars start singly and compete on a tarmac surface track against the clock. Whilst this removes the potential for collision damage, it does not detract from the euphoria of speed for speed’s sake.
Marshalling matters. This is another way to become involved in the sport, to smell the oil and rubber and hear the squeal of tyres at close hand. If you would like to find out more please contact us, we will gladly welcome you to the marshal’s fraternity.

In atrocious and very cold conditions initially with a maximum entry you showed how damn good you lot are at running such a big event... The camaraderie amongst all the competitors and officials makes this a terrific day out.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for organising such a fantastic event. It was my first visit, after a year off last year, and I have to say in 12 years of competing it was the best organised sprint I have ever attended.
